Avebe continues to monitor the latest updates about the global COVID-19 pandemic and takes necessary actions to safeguard the health of our employees and partners at our sites and preserve our ability to operate.
We continue to engage operational continuity plans within our teams to ensure we have sufficient resources to keep plants running safely and products shipped to our customers. We will continue to adhere to strict requirements and will monitor the situation to ensure our employees are safe and our operations are being run safely. Our pandemic team will continue to guide appropriate measures which should be taken and take actions necessary to ensure our operations continue running.
All our employees are working at home, with the exception of the production locations, and attending large events or exhibitions are postponed or changed into a virtual edition.
Vital company
The Dutch government has designated Avebe, as a producer of important ingredients for the food industry, as a vital sector organisation. Our employees, together with suppliers and partners, are working daily to ensure that customer orders continue to be delivered. Although external factors such as waiting times at the borders occasionally present challenges, we are doing everything we can to ensure that orders run as smoothly as possible. We are working with our customers to find the best possible solutions. We are informing them directly if the situation changes for their order.
We realize this situation remains very dynamic. We will continue to provide updates as we learn more. We are confident in our preparation and contingency planning for situations such as this.
